NAPR Needs YOUR Expertise!


As a volunteer association, we rely on the skills and talents of our members to take the organization to the next level. Please consider bringing your skills to NAPR and serve on a committee or on the Board of Directors. The average commitment for serving on a committee is usually less than 10 hours a year. 


NAPR Committees

  • The Membership Committee is responsible for overseeing recruitment efforts, new member orientation and member retention. It also oversees member surveys and promotional activities. In addition, the Membership Committee may screen and  research all applicants for membership and may recommend action to the Board of Directors concerning such applications.
  • The Education Committee oversees, promotes and delivers all NAPR educational activities including the Annual Convention, School of Healthcare Recruitment, webinars and website education. The Education Committee also works with the Vendor Services Committee for program development, seeking sponsors and vendors.
  • The Vendor Services Committee serves as liaison to NAPR vendor members. It also recruits new vendor members and develops programs and services by which members can benefit through vendor discounts and collective purchasing.
  • The Communications Committee is responsible for presenting the image of NAPR to the rest of the healthcare community. It also oversees the newsletter and writes articles.
  • The Ethics Committee fields member inquiries concerning ethical recruitment procedures. The Ethics Committee also reviews and acts upon reported violations of the NAPR Code of Ethics and may also initiate an investigation of apparent violations in accordance with policies and procedures established by and from time-to-time amended by the Board of Directors.
  • The Website Committee continuously updates and develops NAPR’s website, with emphasis on the World Job Bank and its search engine as well as pages for member and vendor use. The Committee is also charged with developing links to other relevant sites, working with major search engines to maximize visibility and usage of the site; tracking site usage; and promoting the site to NAPR members and outside users.
  • The Marketing and Research Committee oversees development and publication of the Physician Compensation Survey, the Industry Trends Survey, and other surveys as needed.
  • NAPR Services, Inc. is a separate for-profit subsidiary of the NAPR, with its own Board of Directors. NAPR Services’ Board is responsible for developing and maintaining programs and services to enhance members’ recruitment efforts, overseeing the World Job Bank and Recruitment Careers and developing and maintaining the Services’ budget.
